My current sex partner has introduced me to one of his roommates and I felt really awkward because that guy has heard me moan, knows I’ll be having sex whenever I’m at the house, etc. I feel really embarrassed by it and I try my best to be quiet when they are near. I noticed that when my partner’s roommate is nearby, he’ll try to make me moan louder by doing something he knows would feel really good for me, and sometimes he won’t close the door fully. Is this so that my partner can show off to his roommates?

Probably, or want them to join in. I lived with a married couple that did that.
He may have an exhibitionism kink. That’s fine if you’re into that sort of thing, but it’s definitely *not* ok if he’s doing it without your consent. Depending on what kind of person the roommate is, they not be comfortable with it either.
Time to have a serious discussion with him about it.
If your not comfortable with it. Tell him. But it’s not completely abnormal. Some people like to show off and be watched. Some people get off watching and listening.
