I was only on Effexor for 2 weeks, I stopped before I was supposed to double my dosage because it just wasn’t working for me. But I noticed that it’s harder for me to get wet during sex or even if I play with myself. While I was on the medication, it took a long time for me to orgasm while I’d play with myself; since stopping tho, I can orgasm just like I use to but I’m finding that I don’t get as wet as I use to… idk if it’s bc of the withdrawal from the Effexor, it just seems weird bc I was only on it for 2 weeks & I’ve been off for about a month. I’m also feeling very insecure w myself overall so maybe it’s that… any input or advice from anyone?

Effexor added a chemical to your brain that mimics happyness. Removing that will make you feel dull for quite a while. This could be what is effecting your sex life, but it is best to contact your doctor to be sure.
