What’s the most adorable thing a guy/girl (gender of sexual interest) has done for you on first meeting?

1. First meeting are pretty low pressure.

   Second date recently the guy actually planned a whole date. It was awesome. Toured me through a historic building, took me driving in his fast car by the water, then took me out for a burger. I was wowed.

   Don’t ever underestimate the power of second date energy.

2. I got set up on a blind date one time and me and the guy really hit it off (to both of our surprise!). We were on a tiny island in the Philippines and I mentioned in passing that there was a book I really wanted to read and hadn’t been able to get my hands on, due to being abroad.

   On our second date he told me he’d searched high and low for a copy and actually managed to borrow one from someone he met on a bar crawl. I really appreciated how it showed me he had listened to me and taken the effort to do something that would make me happy. The little things always go further than the grand gestures imo, I still remember it 8 years later!

3. Went on a date with a girl I knew from work, she showed up with a single rose and turned bright red when she gave it to me, was the cutest fucking thing I had ever seen

   Shame things didn’t work out between us.

5. Bought the groceries I wanted ahead of time so we could just sex and relax when we first met.

6. Well it was more of a hook up as she was getting divorced, but she made a killer breakfast that had the most perfectly cooked bacon I’ve ever had. Four years later we’re still together.

7. He brought me a chair.

   We were doing security and I was supposed to make sure nobody came to a particular floor. It had been taped off and completely locked offand I had a 12hr shift. It was incredibly long and boring.

8. My now boyfriend (20m) met me at a nightclub whilst I was bartendering.
   For context we had texted a few times before the meet up as I had followed him on Instagram and I thought he was cute so I messaged him. Then a week of texting back and forth turns out he was going to the same nightclub I was working at so I told him where I was so I could obviously see who I was talking to. We spoke for a bit and he asked if he could walk me home (considering I live a 5 minute walk away from the club but the streets would be packed with drunk people and there would be random fights occurring so it was a scary street to walk down) I was hesitant and said “maybe” and he walked away. After my shift I received a message from him saying that he’s waited for me after my shift was over so he can at least know I got home safe, which was at least 40 minutes since the club had closed. I let him walk me home. He’s now my boyfriend 🙂

9. He added some songs to my music queue on Spotify for my drive home. It was adorable. I loved hearing what he picked out for me as the songs played.

10. It was actually our second date, but he baked cookies for me from scratch and it was the most adorable thing ever 🥹 all I did was mention I was craving some white chocolate macadamia cookies the week before and he went out of his way to make them. We’ve been together for 2 years.
