My coworker asked me if I called her beautiful

Apparently I worked at a restaurant, was getting busy with ‘em dishes sweating my ass of when all of a sudden coworker’ let’s call her (x) walked up to me asking if I called her beautiful? I was baffled cause that’s the last thing I’d Want to tell someone I worked with, right after that I literally lost my appetite to eat… she comes off weird to me
