I’m looking for a nicer pair of brown shoes to wear with a blue suit for my wedding and other upcoming events. comfort is king as i expect to dance a lot in them. May also be worn with gray suits. Thank you!
Edit: my budget is about $200, although possibly more if the shoes last a significant amount of time.

  1. I have a pair of Ted Baker Hann2. I love them. They’re a little slick so be careful if it’s icy out

  2. I’m a big fan of Ecco Calcan, especially in brown. I have two pairs (black and brown) now and like them a lot, despite having a vague feeling that Ecco’s quality has been declining a bit over recent years.

I wouldn’t consider it a wedding shoe really, but it’s a nice business or smart casual shoe.

  3. I would highly recommend buying Allen Edmonds; they will refurbish them and resole them at the factory when they wear out. They are probably the cheapest shoes worth buying. Made in the USA. Many styles to choose from.

  4. Johnson and Murphy have several at a reasonable price. Some have a slim rubber sole as opposed to leather that may or may not work for your dancing.
