If I can improve my clues and capitalize on them, that would be great, but it rarely happens, and when it does, it’s almost always too late.

When DJing at a private event, for example, I always maintain a professional demeanor. I try to be as courteous as possible, sometimes a little too much. I didn’t realize my client’s sister was flirting with me by asking if I needed help returning my equipment to my truck. I could have taken advantage of the opportunity to say yes and chat more with her, as she had been bugging me the whole night.. Even though I stayed an extra unpaid 30 minutes because I was being “courteous”, I still thought that if she trips while carrying my stuff and then I have deal with my insurance.. I figured I’d keep things professional.

What’s a good mindset for this?
