I’d like to get softer hair and i’ve kinda realised my hair is quite dry and frizzy. I shampoo and condition my hair once every other day. Any tips?

  1. Wash your hair less. Try washing once a week. Brush out any excess oil, as the scalp will over-secrete if you wash it away too often. Eventually the body adapts.

  2. I’ve heard that washing and conditioning your hair too frequently is actually counter productive and not good for it. Maybe try washing it only a few times a week instead of every day?

  3. You probably have curly hair if it’s frizzy. Search up how to care for curly hair and give it a go! I’ve seen a. Lot of transformations online

  4. I suggest washing your hair less frequently or using less soap when you do.

  5. Stop shampooing and conditioning your hair so much.

Just rinse it with water and comb it every day.

Shampoo it only if it gets extraordinarily dirty, such as after you swim in the ocean or a pool to wash the salt/chlorine out.

Add jojoba oil to your hair after a shower if it’s still too dry.

  6. Frequently trim your hair approximately every 6-8 weeks to keep hair healthy. Overuse of heat styling damages hair slowly over time, so make sure you are using a NON oil based heat protector and use heatless hairstyles when possible. Also, using the correct shampoo and conditioner is super important. Hair mask once a week, and leave it for at least an hour.

  7. Shampoo and condition your hair first when you get in the shower, but, don’t rinse the conditioner out immediately. Let it sit in your hair while you take the rest of your shower (at least 5 minutes). The last thing you do before you get out is rinse out the conditioner.

Also, don’t use cheap products. Get some decent shampoo and conditioner. It will make a huge difference.

I wash and condition my hair every day and it always soft when I do it this way.
