As someone whose dad isn’t the best person to ask about wedding stuff, I still crave feedback and conversation with other men going through what I’m going through, or people who have already done so.

So I created a subreddit, r/GroomsGuide, for anyone masc-adjacent to share questions or lessons learned.

And I want your help building it up!

We invite anyone who identifies as a man to please visit the sub and share some lessons learned, stuff you wish someone had told you before you got engaged or stuff you learned in the wedding planning. Or women, sharing things they would like men to know!

And for anyone else who is planning to propose, or has already popped the question, go ahead and post any questions you have!

My first post was about [learning what to do immediately after proposing :)](https://reddit.com/r/GroomsGuide/comments/v7pweg/turns_out_you_need_to_chill_after_the_proposal/)

This community is inclusive of anyone who is a man (regardless of birth) and anyone who doesn’t identify as a man but is masc-adjacent. If anyone from the queer community would like to give feedback on wording in the sticky welcome post and the sidebar description I would be more than happy to listen.

There are already a good handful of posts on there, and we look forward to making this community grow.

I invite to you to either join yourself or send this to someone you know who may find it useful. (Women are welcome too)

Thank you all in advance!
