met this guy exactly a week and two days ago
first date went pretty well, started texting every day from then, then saw him sunday, we became a bit closer to each other and then monday until today we spent the entire day together today he asks if i wanna be his girlfriend and i said not yet
prior to this, on monday he bought me two stuffed animals as gifts and let me have a $75 jacket (which i only found out after he gave kt to me because i googled the company) because he wants me to “wear his clothes” and when i joked about wanting his jacket that he had on (mind you i didnt realize it was name brand because i didnt see the logo so i assumed it was just cheap) he took it off and handed it to me and said he was serious about letting me have both of them i looked, and its a north face
he calls me a goddess and all these other endearing things
i dont know what a normal amount of intimacy truly looks like and i just wonder if hes idealizing me/falling too quickly for me? myself and my partners in the past too have been distant or theres always that one way street of emotion from either party
is this the definition of love bombing? does love bombing ever stop because i like him?

You can ask him to tone it down a little. He does whatever you say so he’ll do that. As for how long this goes on and whether you’re ok with it long term, well, you two will have to figure that out yourselves
