I ( F25) met this guy (M26) online last Monday. He wanted to exchange phone numbers almost immediately to get to know each other better, but I gave him my snap instead. We chat a little bit through the week with long gaps between our messages coming from both sides, we both work so it wasn’t a big deal to me. By the end of the week we had made plans to meet Saturday at 8 at a place he recommended. Now it’s Saturday and we haven’t messaged all day and I send a quick confirmation text 2 hours before we were supposed to meet. Since I didn’t hear from him I stayed home and had a slightly disappointing but relaxing night watching movies. He then sends a message at midnight saying his phone was “dead” all day and he’s sorry. I left him on read and then that same day he asked if I wanted to hang out. I was still a bit bothered by his flakiness that I kinda dismissed him and told him, but now I’m thinking maybe I should’ve given him another chance? I haven’t blocked or unmatched him yet.
