In short, our technology has advanced faster than our ability to process it socially. Online interactions are not the same as in person, and never will be. This doesn’t mean that online friends aren’t real friends, simply that it doesn’t scratch that itch for socialization in quite the same way.

Also, if you are feeling unfulfilled in your life in other ways, you might feel lonely. You can have friends, but if what you really want is a relationship, you could still feel this way.
They are not friends just people you know
It’s because they’re online. If you have a lot of friends online, don’t you think you can have friends not online?
Because you need to depend on them and be vulnerable with them.
