I (21M) somehow can’t get a conversation started on apps like Tinder. My rule is to never hit girls up with lines like a plain Hello or “How are you?”. I always try to say something else but did not have much good feedback. Girls, help!

  1. Comment on something in their photos like “what beach were you at? I like the beach too” or “what concert was that?” You can also comment on their bio

  3. Paying attention to the small details in their pictures, and asking relevant questions about things in their bios goes a long way. A simple “hey” makes you look like you’re not actually taking the time to examine their profile.

  4. You’re just having a conversation man, why do people over think it? Say hi and then follow it up with a conversation starter. Don’t sit there sifting through her profile like you’re studying for a math test or something, that’s weird. Just be yourself, act normal and keep it light and friendly. All this I didn’t have a witty enough opening line so she didn’t reply garbage is nonsense. They probably don’t reply to you because you tried a “witty line” and they’d prefer a chat with another normal human instead of a series of stilted, unnatural and “witty” cliches designed to impress and dazzle but usually just cringey and embarrassing. Have a chat, see how you go, if they don’t respond move along. It’s fine, there’s plenty of women out there.
