it’s a police matter, as it’s covered under the roads traffic act. Call them back and raise it again, if the officer can’t / won’t help then ask to speak to their supervisor. If it keeps getting reported they will eventually get an officer to keep an eye on the area and try to put a stop too it.
Just smash a bottle on the road, won’t be a drag race track for long!
Police won’t do anything unless you have a video recording as there won’t be a realistic prospect of conviction.
If there have been two crashes this month alone then the Police will already be aware.
Just keep reporting it to them if it keeps happening.
Also worth contacting your local councillor, they are generally pretty useless for most stuff but they get a ‘power trip’ hard-on for anti-social behaviour as it’s one of the few things they can actually influence the Authorities about.
