So my boyfriend and i have been dating a couple of months now, and i was joking and hinting about changing Facebook status etc.and he would always ignore the comments. So the other day i asked straight out what he thought or what the issue was, and he said he didnt want to change his status because his friends dont know me.
I know I’m being an ass about the situation, and its something that isnt important in the slightest, but i am a little upset about it.
I wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation where you or your partner didnt want to change their relationship status and why that was?
Or any advice of how i can get over myself? I understand that a lot of people don’t like posting their relationships etc on social media, which is totally fine, but his reasoning made me feel a like there was an issue

I have been there. 2 of my ex’s was like that, but eventually did that and the one’s friend wrote ffs on the announcement.
