i get this dreadful feeling of wanting to be by myself anytime i’m around someone and will do anything possible to go home. it’s like i only enjoy my own company and nobody else’s and it sucks. i want to hangout with my friends but i loose energy and just start acting rude because i want to be alone so bad.

  1. This is so me! I agree to go out with my friends, but the minute I am out, I dread agreeing to go with them.
I guess it’s how introverts are, and maybe little bit of anxiety added to that. Just what I think🤷‍♀️

  2. How do you feel about yourself when you’re around other people? Can you reveal your true self? Can you express yourself openly? Or do you feel you have to put up a facade to get by; that the interactions you have feel forced and unauthentic?

If you feel good about yourself when you’re around others, then maybe your current preference simply is being alone. Maybe whatever you’re doing by yourself gives you more joy than the alternatives out there. If this is the case, maybe you could bring along your friends to activites that you actually like? Or talk about topics that you enjoy talking about?

If you feel bad about yourself/uncomfortable when you’re around others, then it’s natural that you want to escape the situation and go back to the only place you feel comfortable about yourself. If this is the case, you’ve got some self-work to do.

  3. I do the same. It’s like I’m only happy if I feel in control and feel like I’m better than everyone
