First: So I am new to posts so if I say something wrong, it isn’t on purpose. Also English is not my first language so I apologize if I say something offensive, that is not my intention at all.
Second: So I have been talking with a guy for about a month now, we met online. And we have been calling for about a week, each time the call is around 1 hour and the most has been 4 hours(we both had nothing to do and the weather was bad so we just talked) and we have video called 2 times as well.
I have read about love bombing and I am wondering if it is happening with me? He has been calling me honey, and he is talking about so many future trips and plans and how he thinks I am the sweetest and nicest person he has ever met and how much his parents and siblings would love me…… I don’t know…. I have trust issues so I naturally don’t believe everything he is saying…..until a later much stage obviously. Also I haven’t been dating for 2 years so maybe I am just rusty and all of this is normal?
Also something I think I should mention, we are both in a new country, we are foreigners here, but he has been here for 8 years(coming and going tho) and I have been here for 6 months now, so I haven’t agreed to meet up yet because I am very cautious and should know more about him and the places near us both too.
And we have both different cultures and religions as well so I try to keep that in mind…. he said a while back that he won’t talk to me at all if I talk with other guys and I said ‘Well we are not together yet so, and a person must find the right one no?’ He didn’t like what I said at all and said that he feels like a second option but he understands. I mean it is not as if he isn’t talking with other people so?
