  1. Petroleum or Nuclear Engineering.

Good Nuclear programs in France, too. Take one of those and you’ll do well in the US.

    Good luck!

  2. This is an incredibly open-ended question.

    * Will you be studying in the US or France?

    * What education do you already have?

    * Where in the US would you want to live?

    * What do you consider decent money?

  3. Whatever you are good at that is in demand in the US.

It could honestly be anything that the US is hiring for. A lot of times that means STEM degrees like computer science or chemistry but if you aren’t interested in or good at those things you will hurt your chances by getting a degree in something you aren’t suited for.

I would focus much more on what you have some passion about and are good at. Even if you don’t get a job in the US the. You will have prospects in France and you’ll be happier in a career track where you are good at what you do and happy with what you do.

  4. Computer science. There are a ton of foreign visa workers working for big tech companies out here making anywhere from $80-250K.

  5. Any STEM degree. Engineering, medicine, law, something like that. Just make sure it can be used in America.

  6. Stems always a good option. It just depends where you are living cuz cost of living varies greatly from state too state.

  7. anything in tech is a good shout. Engineering, CompSci, that kind of thing.

  8. Nurses and truck drivers are in big demand, almost guaranteed to get citizenship if you’re one of those two things.

Both make decent money, but if you become a nurse, move to a richer state because they pay nurses way more

  9. You should choose a career that makes you happy, I know a lot of miserable people that followed money.

  10. STEM is by far the easiest, with something like consulting/banking a good second (since those sectors sponsor a lot of international employees to come stateside)

  11. Computer science. Software engineering. Something in that realm is usually a pretty safe bet to always be in demand.

  12. Carnegie Mellon has a [degree in bagpiping](https://www.cmu.edu/cfa/music/apply/audition-portfolio-review/requirements-by-area/bagpipe-audition-requirements.html). The requirements for tryout include:

    – One four-part march, strathspey and reel set
    – One complete piobaireachd of the applicant’s choice in order to demonstrate their musical and technical level of achievement.

I’ve heard that the piobaireachd can be a tough one to pass but at least you get to choose it yourself.

  13. What do you like?

What are you good at or were you good at in school?

You need to ask yourself more questions other than just about the money
