so it is my day off and i decide to drive to a Starbucks cafe to study (it’s the one i don’t work at even though it’s a lot closer than the one i work at). the barista is kinda cute ngl. i order my drink and he does the small talk thing. he asks me what my plans are today and i said homework. and he asks me if I’m in school and I say summer school lol. and show my partner # because i want the partner discount. then the barista goes “don’t worry about it” and he didn’t charge me anything 🥺 was that an accident move on their end or was he just being nice? i don’t read situations very well haha i overthink. Is it normal for partners do that to other partners from other stores? anyways i feel bad but Idk what to feel? Thankful for a free drink ? Can’t complain then <3
