I (F in late 20s) went on a solo night out as usual, and met a guy a few years older. We had an amazing time out and ended up back at his hotel room at the end of the night. We both seems very excited about the other and ended up having a one-night stand, which was amazing for both of us.
He had to leave the following morning, as he does not live where I reside, he was visiting. With this being my first time doing this, I was very nervous afterwards and he made me feel very comfortable, but I still ended up leaving. After I left, I thought he was never going to reach back out to me because we barely knew each other.
Thankfully! He did, and we spoke briefly each day after and yesterday, we spoke almost the entire day on text… We spoke about how much fun we had and we wish we weren’t so wasted so we could remember more, a bit about careers and our parents etc… By the end of the chat. He said he will try to make arrangements to come back to visit me.
I am not sure on what to think, but I found myself really liking him so far… Is this potentially the start of something or is this the usual behavior after?

This happened to me a month a go… We ended up talking every day, he said he would come to visit me soon and then… Boom! He booked a train to cross all the country to spend a couple of days with me! He finally came last week.
I was a bit worried and confused for the same reasons as you…. But the time we spent together was definetly worth it. This last week was super sad for me cause I don’t know when we’ll see each other again and now I have true feelings for him.
But time will tell! Maybe this whole thing will eventually fade away or we find ourselves following things further…
I’m not saying is gonna be the same for you. Many people would say let him go, its not worth it, etc… But from my experience, give it a shot and let things flow, you’ll never know!
