How do you spend quality time with your partner?

1. Workout together. Over the past few years I built a pretty all encompassing home gym so that we could spend more quality time together being productive and help eachother push one another to better achieve our goals.

2. cooking breakfast together on weekends and dinner together a few times a week is my absolute favorite. we love watching hell’s kitchen/master chef together as well, so we talk to each other pretending to be in a professional kitchen lol

3. Explore nearby towns, eat at new restaurants, watch movies, etc

4. Videogames, hiking, binging TV shows, working out.

5. Backpacking, in a 2-person tent, and talk about the day, while looking at the stars

6. We cook together, we’ve built quite the collection of two player card, board, and video games, we fuck a lot, go on walks and drives, sometimes on our Friday we will pack up dinner and drive to the beach and get high and eat dinner and play card games on the beach at night. Money is tight but we try to go on a date night at least twice a month (we like to do new things that neither of us has done before to make it fun and interesting), and if we can swing it every two months we get an AirBnB somewhere we’ve never been and stay a night or two.

7. We travel, even if it’s not far. We spend time on each others’ hobbies. We make it a point to indulge each other’s whims while we’re out places (such as stopping into a random place that looks interesting, be it a roadside museum, an odd-looking shop, a mill offering tours, a restaurant, etc.). If we have work trips, we try to bring one another along (one plays tourist while the other works, and then we meet up at the end of the day to do something fun). We also allow one another free time to read, work, etc., and sometimes in the same room. We talk about our work, what we want to do or change in our homes, lives, careers, etc. We make time to laugh about things together, too.

8. From the minute she turns up I’m yelled at until she leaves. She’s nice on the phone though…

9. I scroll through Reddit and she goes through IG/YT vlogs. Then we sleep with our backs facing one another. Rinse and repeat.

10. I play video games in the basement.
