My partner and I have been together for almost 3 years, and living together for 18 months of that. Recently, I’ve just stopped feeling the love and warm fuzzy feeling that I used to feel.

We’ve both got our own mental health issues, and I feel as though my own depression, work and university stress and just general life stuff have contributed to my feeling this way. But after starting to talk about, she is finding it really hard to understand why I feel this way. Nothing has happened, no one has cheated on anyone. I have just lost the feeling.

Should we take a break from things and spend some time apart? Should I just tear the band-aid off and call it?

  1. Yes break up. Then after 3 months write a new post titled, ” I want my ex back but he’s got a girlfriend.”
