Hi all,

I’m 24m and have been unemployed for almost 1 year, I’m attending a BBQ with many people also attending.

We all know that people look down on you when unemployed, how do I not feel ashamed when answering the question “What do you do?”.

  1. There’s an old standard answer to this:. I’m between jobs right now.

    But you could spin it to: I’m looking for a new challenge of (insert industry or position here).
