  1. Try to buy a phone whose vibration motor works on the Z-axis (back and forth between the screen and the backplate) instead of the X-axis (side to side between the edges). Z-axis vibration makes it easier to feel notifications in your pocket and hear them on a desk.

  2. A good or a bad hug when seeing someone and saying goodbye to someone. At least for me.

  3. a) The audience clapping 0.1-0.9s off beat

    b) The audience singing in a lower or higher pitch

  4. When you utter a smile out of politeness at a stranger, and they smile back even if they don’t know why you briefly smiled at them.

  5. Common courtesy.

    You don’t realise it’s missing and the lack there of is demoralising until you get it. I.E I didn’t realise how little the managers at my last job thanked me or gave any indication that they appreciated me/what I did until I started a new job where the culture is to say thank you and show appreciation in simple ways as standard.
