I need to cut off a toxic “friend” who doesn’t pick up on social cues, e.g. taking 2 days to respond to his texts and not reciprocating his energy. But I can’t afford to rock the boat by flat out blocking him since he knows a secret of mine that he could leverage to blackmail me, and I wouldn’t put it past him.
I’m trying to get him to stop wanting to text me in the first place; without pissing him off.
Any suggestions?
