When did you realize you were the third wheel?

1. I had a summer job once, and we got 1 day off a week, usually you had the day off with a group of people. One week my friend at the job wanted to transfer to my day off (because I had mentioned to him how crappy my day off group was). Well he also liked this one girl in my day off group, and I’ll never understand what he saw in her to be honest. We rented a hotel room in a nearby town, and I spent the majority of that day off trying to be away from those two while they were going at it. I was so fucking oblivious… The rest of my days off that summer I spent alone.
