Like does it actually hurt? I’ve asked so many people and I keep getting different answers. Is it that it only happens to some guys?

  1. it’s real and it can really hurt. at some point the pain can be there even an hour or so after you went off. it can get fucking crucial.

  2. I can only speak for guys but yes it does happen. It’s pretty rare for it to get so bad that it actually hurts, at least for me, but it’s usually a stinging, annoying feeling. It probably differs a bit from person to person.

  3. It kind of depends on what you mean when you say real.

A long period of arousal without a release IS very uncomfortable for a lot of guys. The testicles become…quite delicate. Makes it difficult to walk comfortably, among other similar unpleasant experiences.

It’s not dangerous in any way. Just incredibly unpleasant.

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced it personally but I rarely go a day without an orgasm so…

  5. I’d compare it to period cramps for women. Some get it bad, some less, some are lucky enough not to experience it at all.

  6. Yes, they are real!

However, orgasm is the way to heal it, be it mastrubation or sex.

  7. I have been told it hurts and even seen swollen balls that literally looked blueish. We were making out for what seemed forever and playing around, but he never took things to the next level… aka made a move, so we didn’t have sex for all that time. Then he got very uncomfortable – said there was something wrong – it was very painful down there. I had a first boyfriend who said he got blueballs all the time, so he always needed me to “fix” him basically b/c he blamed me lol. Making him cum always cured the problem, but he got this every single day just about so I think he was just abusing it.

I explained to the one I was with who didn’t know why it was hurting so bad – what it most likely was and the fix was either he could go home and jack off to release the pressure – or…. we could do something and he picked option 2 so I gave him a BJ in the front seat of his car.

He thanked me about 5000 times after like I saved him from a burning building, but we never had such long makeout sesh’s after that, so he never really got blueballs again. He said it literally hurt really bad as he started to cum, but then it flipped and started to feel amazing.

  8. I guess I have always felt is was a attempt by guys to try and convince the woman to proceed.

  9. you can get similar with a pussy too. it’s like achy and heavy feeling in your gentitals. hard to walk and i get light headed. like being drunk. worst i got i had to get in a cold shower to calm down cuz i didn’t want to make my partner feel pressured. it’s physically real tho, not just mental

  10. They are. I can’t speak for all men; but, for me it takes some time to get them. I have to have 30+ minutes of long session / edging stimulation and then have it interrupted.

For me, it feels like a mild bruising across the entire surface of both testies with a sharper more annoying pain in the lower stomach (prostate region) that can make me mildly nauseous. The pain itself randomly spikes and tapers.

Masturbating is painful during this but ejaculating immediately and hugely reduces the pain and it goes away completely after an hour or so.

  11. Yes, but it’s not an excuse for sexually coercing people the way some guys do, because they can masturbate any time to solve the problem.

  12. Yes but it takes a loooong time to occur. Like, you’ve got to be aroused for 6+ hours straight to get it. Blue balls, as depicted in the media where you get denied by a partner after 5 minutes, is pure BS and any guy complaining about it is manipulative.

  13. I kinda feel like an anomaly due to how I experience this.
Kinda like… how your supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day, well I genuinely need 2 gallons.
Blue balls for me instead of any kinda of pain in my testes I get a massive burning sensation along my shaft and tip, but not painful? Just really irritating. How ever like most once I climax it generally goes away within 20 minutes.

  14. What do you call it when you ejaculate too much and get the same side effects of blue balls?

  15. I think its only a mental thing. I have been edging and not cumming for 15 month once. I should have had the worst blue balls in human history. But i did not. Nothing changed. I was just horny all the time.

I dont think there is really a physical effect of blue balls. Of cause the balls get sensitiv when they are sexually stimulated for too long. But i think the “pain” is just in the head. The need to orgasm is so strong, and it can drive you crazy. And no matter how much you try to not think about it, just one little thought or visual stimulation, and you get a hardon, and this hardon forces more sexual thoughts again. You just cant escape this, until you cum.

But pain? No, i never experianced any pain or even other physical changes, even after month of not cumming but having a lot of sex.

Maybe i work different then other men. But to me, its all in the head.

  16. Blue balls is real. It can be extremely uncomfortable for us lads. But unfortunately some guys try and use it as an excuse to try and guilt trip a girl for sexual favours. If you’ve had that and that’s why you’re asking, tell the dude to go jack off. Blue balls is real but a quick tug will fix it.

  17. Yes, it exists. It’s typically linked to a lot of over stimulation with no release. People into edging experience it a lot but I’ve also experienced it with an ex partner who would lead me on sexually.

At a certain point, she’d been turning me on for days but then nothing would happen, she’d do this intentionally to try and wind me up, and it resulted in minor swelling and my ejeculate become much more viscous and jelly-like, becoming difficult to even expell properly.

    It definitely exists
