Checkers Famous Seasoned Fries, they’re spicy.
Funny; some friends of mine were just talking about that last night. Their conclusion was McDonalds’ for the win.
Don’t get me wrong; there are smaller chains that do better fries. (I’m partial to the simplicity of In-‘n’-Out’s fries; they basically take the whole potato, put it through the slicer, then fry, salt and serve.)
But Micky D’s fries are the classic french fry, especially when fresh off the frier.
Checkers is the answer.
Burger King or McDonald’s
Really depends.
Of the big chains I think the overall consensus would be McDonald’s.
If you are talking about fries other then just normal french fries, maybe Arby’s curly fries or Chick-fil-A’s waffle fries.
But my personal choice would In-N-Out’s fries.
Rally’s fries in my experience. I am now realizing Rally’s and Checker’s are the same. Second best imo is Burger King.
McDonald’s for the win.
I generally find that regional fast food joints have better fries than national brands like BK or McDonald’s.
That said, on the national landscape, KFC has amazing fries and I’d put them up against most regional spots.
Oh man, chick-fil-a is up there.
Ronald has you all brainwashed. Miss me with those shoestring bullshits.
Chick fil a first then wendys and McDonald’s
McDonalds is my go to (since they are everywhere).
Rally’s used to be a fave (unfortunately there isn’t one near me anymore).
Five Guys has great fries too!
Any but in-n-out
Probably gonna get shit on for this, but imo Wendy’s has some pretty great fries. McDonald’s & Five Guys (if you count fast casual as well) are also high up there.
Five guys but they have to be fresh
Probably Five Guys just because of how many they give you.
For true fast food, I suppose wendys? They aren’t as good as they use to be, but…. they aren’t bad. (The breakfast potatoes from wendys, by the way, are phenomenal for fast food.)
More fast casual food, 5 guys is hard to beat. They are actually good.
But if we bump it up one more notch, we get to red robin. Not fast food at all, but…. I love me some big steak fries.
This also gives you my fry bias. Not into thin fries. I like big fries and I cannot lie…
Previously: Arby’s country fries. I think they got rid of them in the early 2000s.
Currently: Braums crinkle cut fries or Whataburger fries.
McDonald’s are good, but they rarely salt them or when they do it waay too much.
