women of this subreddit, how do you flirt with men thru texts (if your sending the first message)?

1. In terms of flirting with men in my first text I have tried sending them pictures of my animals. My dog and cat are cute so I sencirely hope that it brightens their mood, but most important is that it is a great reason to start or keep the dialog… Let me tell you, it never f-ing works! Why???

   Also, I just openly use pick up lines as I have good imagination and it is easy to make up something nice on the go. Also never really works…(

2. I usually just keep it simple and innocent, like “how’s your day going handsome? 😊”

3. I usually go for a compliment, if it is in person I’ll say something about what they are wearing like “oh that’s a cool watch!” Or “ hey that color looks great on you “ followed by whatever you were going to say and you can do that vice versa, like a greeting then the compliment.
   If it’s on an app like bumble I usually pick something out of their profile that I liked and use that in my intro

4. As a woman you don’t have to flirt, just ask interesting questions.

   Flirting won’t make you any more attractive to men, at best it will just show that you want to meet up.

5. Every time I’m texting my boyfriend tho sometimes it flies over his head
