You can literally pick up paprika flavored chips at just about any grocery store. Idk why y’all think we only have like 4 flavors of potato chips.
I’m sure we have them somewhere, but it’s not common. I can’t remember ever seeing them.
It’s not a standard flavor that you will see from the big national brands, but we do have it.
Of course you do realize that what is thought of as “standard” and “best” will both vary by regions throughout the world right?
[Paprika Chips on Amazon](https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=paprika+chips&crid=3LX7UEPG6ICKB)
I wouldn’t exactly call it foreign but it’s more of a specialty flavor. You tend to not see it from the major national brands but can find it usually from smaller brands in large grocery stores. This may vary by region though, and then just order from Amazon.
I’m sure you can pick them up some places but no, I definitely wouldn’t say they are popular here.
Popular chip flavors would be stuff like salt and vinegar sour cream and onion, barbecue, spicy flavors, cheesy flavors, dill pickle flavor, among others.
Most common chip flavors are generally salted, bbq, salt & vinegar, ranch, cheese, sour cream & onion, and various forms of “hot” flavors. But we have *loads* of options when it comes to chips, the chip isle at the average grocery store has *hundreds* of varieties to choose from.

“Do y’all actually have it”
Yes, although I wouldn’t say they’re super common.
“What kind of chips do you eat lmao”
All kinds? It’s America, we probably have every flavor of junk food imaginable.
“It’s like the best one”
That sounds kinda subjective lol
Some smaller brands can do it but, if I want paprika chips, I gotta buy some from shops that sell imports. Paprika is a pretty uncommon flavor for chips here, atleast from my experience. Besides, we got our own lines of very popular chip flavors whether you want potato, corn, or something else.
Paprika chips definitely exist, but they’re not one of the classics that most go for
Dear op, I heard in a YouTube video that American food is foreign to Italy. Why isn’t American food standard in Italy like ours is lmao?
We have these at my goto grocery store.
However I prefer salt and vinegar or takis more.
Yep we do. Not one of the most popular flavors, but you can still get them.
Salted chips are the standard here, they have oil and salt. Lots and lots of salt. Other common ones are sour cream and onion, barbecue, cool ranch (depending on the type of chips), and salt and vinegar
I’ve never seen paprika chips (though I do mostly online grocery ordering now).
If I’m throwing a party and putting out some chips I’ll have plain (salt) with a dip and BBQ.
If I’m buying for my family I’ll get a bag of sour cream & onion or cheddar & sour cream and a bag of BBQ because I know that’s what my wife, kids, and I like best.
As someone who moved from Switzerland to the US, BBQ chips most closely resemble the paprika chips you might know.
Paprika isn’t a popular flavor over here. Salt and vinegar are the best.
We have them, they’re not popular but they’re out there, calm down.
It’s not seen as a “foreign” flavor, we use it in a lot. It’s just not a common chip flavor.
We don’t but that sounds amazing! I honestly don’t have a favorite, because I’ll just eat the whole damn bag no matter what flavor it is.
The spice/pepper is pretty common, but not very common as a chip flavor. Although some might have it mixed in the seasoning.
The reason… or at least my guess is because we have many different types of chips that have pepper seasoning.

I didn’t even get into the BBQ flavors, but there are endless flavors of chips in the USA. Paprika and salt sort of seem a little plain compared to all of the above chips… little lone the other 20ft of chips in the isle.
You can find it. It is not common though.
