We’re a 20 yo couple, male and female, together for
almost 8 months
A few days ago my me and my gf woke up and she asked me to give her her phone. I gave it to her and checked the time on her phone.
Back story for a second: she has a male friend which she isn’t talking to much and they never even meet anymore but still considers him as a friend. they hooked up one time and she says she never wants to do that with him again.
Ok now that this is done back to the story> I briefly saw that this guy messaged her at around 3-4 in the morning and didn’t say anything because I guessed that if it’s something important she would tell me.
She never mentioned it and until now im super curious on what was that single message at 3 in the morning. Usually guys dont just text a girl at 3 in the morning. I know im insecure but not THAT much.. right..?
Should I ask her about it?
Should I just wait till this feeing of uncertainty is over?

I don’t think it’s something to flip your lid over just yet, but yeah, I personally think it’s weird he’s texting her at those hours. However, do keep in mind that even if he likes her, she may not reciprocate those feelings and it could just be a random text from his end that she isn’t courting, so maybe move carefully with this one before asking her anything.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just my age, but if I had 8 months invested in a relationship, I would want to know why a dude that had hooked up with her was texting at 3 a.m.
For me, communication is key. So is transparency. Me? I would just ask.
