I haven’t seen this friend in a year but we wished eachother a happy birthday in January (are birthdays are right next to eachother). She mentioned how we should catch up and go skating. But she said that in 2019 and left me on my own. And now she is looking for people ONLINE to go skating with when she stated how we should go ?

In high school we were good friends. There’s no beef between us but I sense a bit of jealousy when I’m around her. I could be reaching
When I met up with her last year it was with a bunch of other friends from high school and she didn’t speak to me until an hour in.

She seems to treat you like a back up option. If you’re okay with that, I guess you could revive the friendship. Personally, I wouldn’t and I’d much rather prefer to give my time to someone that actively cares about me and checks up on me to see if I’m okay. I wouldn’t say cut ties with her, just don’t treat her like a priority because she doesn’t seem to treat you like one.
