Throwaway.

I’m m22 and partner is f23, I’m an expat in her country(asia-thirdworld/developing country) since 5 years and we are together since 6 months.

Everything up until now has been great but due to her abusive family’s situation, and other factors (positive or negative) she wants to leave the country asap.

We both see a huge potential in each other as long-term partners as not only are we successful/ambitious in our respective careers but we both found what we want in each other.

In her country, and for my age, I have the best position to earn gross ~20k USD annually at the minimum, from my many sources of income.

I can scale that 20k into 50k in 2 years of stable income, but she will suffer from her family and also her dream of living abroad. She doesn’t have the same opportunities or financial security like I do, probably 10k gross.

For these reasons she’d like to leave but if I leave I won’t have the same opportunities, but perhaps could be earning the same amount as a waiter through tips/salaries in a first world country(50k USD according to Google in Australia).

I have no idea what to do, I don’t want to limit her especially due to her situation, but I know financial stability opportunities/experiences like I have don’t come by easy especially when it is scalable.

Thank you in advance, cheers.
