35M here looking for advice from a female perspective, but open to any feedback as it would be helpful.
I’ve been doing the online dating thing for years now. One thing thats important to me is waiting to have sex until an emotional connection is made. I dont have a specific timeframe, but would perfer to wait a month or two as for me its important to build the base of a relationship before having it clouded with the emotional and physical aspects of sex.
When dates ask or its discussed, I’m always upfront that I dont want to have sex right away but I’m not the best at vocalizing these feelings in the moment and often find myself having sex before I feel I’m personally ready. Part of the reason is I feel my viewpoint isnt normal (As a Man) and I would lose the possibility at something good because my potential match loses interest.
Sexual compatibility is important to me, just as it is alot of people, just looking for some advice on how to navigate this moving forward. Thanks!
