Maybe a person of authority, maybe an ex, or a friend. My therapist encourages me to write out my thoughts on what bothers me, as I’m dealing with a toxic work situation now, but to not follow through by saying what I’m thinking to the system. I’m trying to convince myself to keep a positive attitude, by being the bigger person, but I feel that my mental health just gets worse and it makes me ruminate a lot about things. It’s easier said than done, but I want to do my best to get through this as rationally as possible.
