So I didn’t know what to name the post, but here’s the short form of the story: When I was in kindergarten to 4th school year I had a friend group and especially a best friend (let’s name her emelie in this post) they were the best friends you could ever wish for :).Then when we had to pick a secondary school I picked a different than them and we rarely saw eachother after that. I had/have some mental problems (I now go to a psychiatrist) but thats why I isolated myself and we grew apart even more. I saw emelie a few times after that at my busstop and sometimes we talked a bit about school. On time we even met but it felt like we both didn’t know what to talk about but it was still really cool to see her again.

So thats some time ago and I want her to be my friend again or atleast find out what kind of person she is nowadays cuz you know I only knew her when she was a kid. And I want to see who my other friends are now, they are around 16 now and I just wonder sometimes about them. I feel like when I don’t try something now I lost my opportunity and will hate myself for it later, even if it doesn’t end in friendship I atleast tried.

Actual question: How do I do this? I mean I have emelies number and her house is 5 minutes away from mine. Should I just ask her if she wants to meet and talk a little? And what should we talk about? And is it even ok to ask her even after these years?
