Did you do a group dance or a group stretching exercise to a song in kindergarten? Which song did you dance to with other kids?

Head, shoulders, knees & toes, knees & toes

Eyes and ears and mouth and nose

Yeah..I fukkin rock that shit! 🤘

    (I do have a 6 year old!)

  2. Not that I can remember, but we had to learn to square dance to Brooks and Dunn in elementary school.

Neon Moon still makes me think of third grande and the little redheaded girl I had a crush on then, 30+ years later.

  3. My kindergarten years were mid 1970s. The only thing I distinctly recall is swiftly relearning the words to eeny meeny miney mo because my parents had taught me the racist version.

For at least a decade afterwards I remember always putting undue emphasis on “catch a **tiger** by his toe”

This was actually quite progressive for the mid 70s, especially considering the nursery was in a church.
