What are the possible cons of soft parenting?

2. Are we talking about gentle parenting which is really just authoritative parenting?

   I don’t have children, but I work with them and we’ve been using a “gentle parenting” type of approach for a very long time. Other than it requiring some change for adults sometimes I don’t really see any cons. Kids just respond better to you when you’re kind to them, respect them, and set high expectations that you make clear to them.

5. It can easily be seen on movies with the appearance of these arrogant children. Like a comment above, Veruca Salts is one of these examples .
   You shouldnt go for tough parenting which consists of violence 100% but also not gentle which consists of words 100%. Like everything else in life, you need to find the middle point in the spectrum
