Guy avoids eye contact

So there’s this coworker that I (F) recently started having a little crush on but I’m confused on what to make of the situation. I recently got hired and I never really cared to notice the guy at first and I assumed that was the same for him but ever since the first (short) conversation we had, I realize he never makes eye contact with me. Actually I would say he goes great lengths to avoid it. However he has no problem maintaining eye contact with other workers.

I was thinking maybe he got the hint that I might have a crush on him and he’s avoiding me but he’s usually the one I catch lingering around me and actually starting the convos. when he talks to me, he stands pretty close to me and yet he won’t look at me. On top of that he only calls me by a nickname. So yea idk what to make of the situation, should I make a move or nah?

Also, for context we’re both in our early twenties and he seems like a pretty confident guy so I wouldn’t have expected him to by shy in any way. Thanks in advance y’all.
