There’s this guy at my office with whom I have a bit of strange relationship. When I first got the job he was quite unfriendly to me and we even argued a little. But then he started being kinder and started doing things for me. Not something out of the way but he started holding doors for me even though I was quite far away from the said door. Like I was still walking down the corridor and he would be there waiting for me and holding a door. He then started talking to me a little, laughing at jokes I made. But when I ask him something work related and there are other people around he gets nervous and doesn’t look me in the eyes. He sometimes just replies with one word and that’s all. When I see him while there’s no one around, he smiles, gets a little shy but talks to me.
Here’s what I’m wondering. Can these things mean that he likes me? I do not have courage to ask him out. I just try to see whether he’s just being nice to me after being little rude at first, or he actually likes me. Need some advice
