Probably because much like the lovely Bertha it only got 13 episodes to make its mark.
The Family Ness
The demon headmaster
Aquila
The Queens Nose
The Mysterious Cities of Gold and The Tribe 😁
I’m sure some people remember it, but Old Bear – I loved it, still think it’s such a beautiful little show. But it’s not endured like Thomas the Tank Engine/Fireman Sam/Postman Pat despite being of same era. Had them all on VHS and Old Bear got played just as much the others!
I remember Tugs, because I worked on it. Yes, it was the same company that made Thomas but it didn’t have any literary pedigree, some episodes they just made up on the spot, without any script, that’s probably why no one remembers it.
Animals of farthing wood.
Wizadora.
Does anyone remember Through the Dragon’s Eye? Would probably have watched it in school.
Poddington peas, Oakey doke, whacky races, robot wars
Rosie & Jim.
Anyone remember Woof! The boy who turns into a dog, I remember loving that. And Trap Door too!
Biker Mice from Mars.
This thread makes me wonder why no-one has launched a classic kids TV channel. Let us all relive our childhoods! Plus I’m sure current kids will have their favourites too
Anyone remember Mr Benn?
Ker Ching (sp?) about these kids trying to get rich
Knightmare, closely followed by The Trap Door.
Really miss Knightmare, seems like only my brother and I remember it.
Brum was decent. Can’t remember a single episode’s story from it though
SUPERTED. FUCKING. SUPERTED. PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE REMEMBERS SUPERTED.
The worst witch
I absolutely loved this programme! 🥰
Can’t remember if it’s British but Round the Twist caught me on the theme tune alone. God, there are so many that I need a list to remind me.
Bodger and badger. Badger ate mashed potatoes.
Mona the vampire
Op asks for shows that nobody can remember. Cue list of very famous well known shows.
ZZZap! I always forget the name of it until I go back and Google it. There was one of the panels that never seemed to get chosen.
