Why is it traditional to not wear anything under kilt for men?

1. I mean the scots and the picts and most Gaelic tribes used to fight full balls naked with nothing but paint on their bodies as an intimidation tactic.

   So I’m guessing probably for a similar reason.

3. Because whether it be big or small , thick or thin , most men get intimidated to see a dick underneath a miniskirt.

5. I have worn a real kilt and they are very warm, underwear is not required

7. Kilts predate underpants. It’s as simple as that. There just wasn’t any real need to wear anything under it.

   Considering the hygiene of the period, you probably don’t want sweaty bacteria building up in your knackers so hanging free was the way to go.

   But if renting a kilt, do you want your dick rubbing against where the previous guys grotty bits were when you sit down? Boxers are advised for that, tradition be damned.

10. Somewhere there is a spoof mentos commercial where a girl goes down on a guy in a kilt while stopped at a crosswalk because he’s not wearing any underwear and it just says “the friend maker”. Not the traditional reason, but a reason some people don’t.

14. Same reason women dont always wear underware if the dress is long enough. Whats the point? Nobody is gunna see unless you show them on purpose underwear just makes it needlessly hotter.
