[HELP] vibrator troubles

This is really embarrassing to type but I need the help,, I got this Plusone bullet like last week and it was working perfectly until I took it into the shower a few days ago, the brand guarantees that they’re waterproof so I don’t know if that’s the issue, no one else complained about it in the reviews.. At first it wasn’t turning on and now it’s turning itself in and off, I don’t know what to do because I can’t have it buzzing around the house as my parents don’t know, I also can’t return it/request a refund for obvious reasons,, anyone know how I can take out the battery some way so I can dispose of it quietly? Or any tips at all, thank you
