Should I (20F) ask a guy (20M) I’ve been on one date to a BBQ?

I know it’s a hit or miss but should I just ask him if he would like to join a family BBQ for July 4th? Our first date went really well. We planned another date for the Thursday after. Should I just keep it that way or just go for it and ask if he wanted to come?
