Hi,I am from India. Here we have NEET ( national eligibility entrance test) for undergraduate and postgraduate medical degree .
In neet -undergraduate ( taken after high school) is one of the competitive exams . We have 180 questions ( 90 from biology ,45 from chemistry and physics respectively) in multiple choice questions format . Each questions is for 4 marks which makes the total to be 720.Incorrect answers have penalty of -1 ,meaning losing 5 marks .
We have special coaching classes in addition to schools to prepare students for this entrance exams. Do you have something like this
Here we have public and private college . Public college are prestigious and fees is extremely low ( 200 dollars or less for one term ) But number of seats is low making it most competitive .Private college have high fees(6k dollars per year) .

In the US you need a bachelors degree before you can enter into medical school. You will need to take the MCAT.
