I’m really trying to get into the dating scene now at age 25 and I’m going to go to this bar in my city I would just like to know some good drink suggestions I just don’t know any and I like sweet drinks any ideas?

  1. A good sipping whiskey. That way you can get loaded and look like a classy drunk instead of a poor one.

  2. Hm pink Gin or maybe a cocktail? Something like Mojito. There is no such drink as a “girl drink”. Be a man and Take whatever is tasty or whatever u want!

  3. I like white Russians, but they have milk in them so not great for getting really drunk on.

  4. tom collins. its gin and lemonade. sweet enough but not a kids drink, and i’m assuming you are asking because you don’t want to look like a dickhead ordering a carribean stallion or some such shite

  5. White claws are a good start, low alcohol, not too boozy tasting, and decent price point. I can’t drink beer so this is my go-to if there’s no craft cider on tap. If you’re looking for cocktails, I usually start with the specialty drink menu and pick one with soda, juice, or a liquer (flavored liquor like st Germain or Irish cream, for example). You can kind of tell if it’s a “girly” drink in how its served, ie if it’s in a champagne or martini glass and has vanilla, lots of tropical fruit flavors, or wine. Then again you could be a real man and just order what sounds tasty, gender roles be damned. Up to you but if you’re not usually a booze drinker I’d stick to low abv hard seltzers or ciders, maybe even an aperol spritz if you’re feeling boogie

  6. I’d say most clear liquor drinks tbh. Moscow mules, gimlets, mojitos.. things like that. You can also grab anything mixed with soda. Whiskey and cokes and things like that. I personally stay away from things that are too sweet as they make me feel ill.

Also, ignore people saying “just drink whiskey”. That’s the most childish approach to drinking recommendations

  7. My go to is Southern Comfort and Coke, or rum if they don’t have SoCo. No idea why so few places have it, though, it’s great.

  8. Alabama slammer – 4 oz orange juice, 1 shot southern comfort, 1 shot amaretto liquer, supposed to be made with sloe gin but i cant find it so ive learned mixologists sub with 1 shot red syrup.
Its Sweet. Just take it easy- as one drink its 2-3 shots worth.
Or try a long island iced tea. But thats a lot of drink per glass too.

These are / certainly can be – need a ride home level drinks btw.

  9. That’s relative. I enjoy a pint of IPA with a shot of rum in it. You probably won’t like that.

  10. Try sending an appetizer over instead of a drink. Wings are usually a safe bet, or French fries.

  11. Crown and coke (i say crown bc it has a little more vanilla flavor to it imo), white Russian, i like Cointreau on the rocks occasionally (orange liquer) you could probably get that with a little sprite or something. Most things made with rum will be sweet like Malibu and orange juice.

If they have good flavored vodka and a halfway decent bartender you can probably get some good flavored martinis. I used to make chocolate martinis for people when i was a bartender.

  12. Moscow Mule, Old Fashioned, gin and tonic, scotch and soda are some of my go-to’s. If you go to a place like a Tiki Bar where the drinks are super complex you might be able to find more.

  13. Old fashioned.

You could get adventurous and order a Three Wise Men, or a Long Island iced tea.

  14. I’m a beer snob. So if a good pilsner, Helles, lager or ale from Germany, isn’t available, a gin & tonic is my go to. I prefer one made with Bombay Sapphire or Tanqueray. Ask for 2 limes. It’s not too sweet.

  15. Tequila sunrise is a good sweet drink, French 75 is a yummy, classy, and healthier option, old fashion is a sort of sweet whisky drink, margaritas, black russian(Kahlua & vodka no cream), cosmopolitan, daiquiri, mudslide if you like frozen drinks, mojito, and Tom Collins are all good.

  16. You can also have the bartender put any “girly” drink into a highball glass and or without garnish. It would be a good way to weed out judgemental dates if they treat you differently just because of your drink choice.

  17. Hard cider’s my favorite. There are sweet or sour varieties, there’s cider made from pretty much every fruit; my current favorite is Woodchuck Mimosa. That’s apple cider and orange juice.
