I want to buy a ring for my fiancé from somewhere reputable that may offer a sizing option prior to purchase. Any ideas? he got me a beautiful engagement ring so I better find a good one 😅

  1. Don’t focus on a ring so much, a watch may go much further.

Just a smooth, mirror finish comfort fit platinum band for the wedding ring. Nothing crazy flashy – but quality.

Then look at watches for the gift part – you can go all out on watches – list of “beautiful engagement ring” level:

  2. If you are just buying a band ask any jeweler they will usually sell it to you for a little bit more than the cost of the metal.

  3. I’m not a fancy ring guy. A veteran charity was selling Tungsten rings for $22 bucks. Showed my wife and that’s what I’ve been happily wearing for 8 years.

You know his style better than us. Mine is good for me, but I’ve seen some very fancy men’s rings with diamonds and whatnot. It all depends on what he likes. I’d suggest going to a store that carries rings similar in quality to what you received. They’ll steer you in the right direction and it won’t break the bank either, even nice men’s rings are generally cheaper.

  4. If you’re insistent on metal I’d suggest a tungsten band. Otherwise, get an 8 pack of silicone bands on Amazon for $6. They’re way more comfortable tbh.
