  1. Yes, Florida as well. I routinely carry 2 CCW’s. One in a shoulder harness and one in my pocket. Don’t @ me, I live in bumfuck FL and the Sheriff’s department is at least an hour response – and that’s optimistic.

  2. Do you mean open carry, concealed carry or just owns a firearm at home? I’d suspect raw numbers Texas looks remarkable, per capita it’s above average but not remarkable in comparison to other states but remarkable from an international perspective.

  3. There is a significant population of people who own guns in Texas but that’s also because Texas is the 2nd biggest state in population. There are states with more relaxed gun laws. Alaska, Arizona, Kansas etc. Also I think per capita there are more gun owners in Alaska, Montana and Wyoming.

Edit:. I just googled it and Texas isn’t even top 10 in gun ownership per person.

  4. Texas isn’t even near the top among firearm ownership, and you can’t measure shit in other states like AZ because we are constitutional carry and if you asked me on a survey I’d tell you “no, what firearms?”

  5. Probably but me and my friends do not carry guns. I assume that a fair number of my neighbors are armed though. But I knew a lot more fun owners ion Washington state than I do here

  6. If I lived in Texas, I’d be packing for vacation to a cooler state right now. 😛

  7. >Is it true that everyone

Unless what follows is an extremely basic human function necessary for life then the answer is almost assuredly no.

  8. When I moved from Texas, I had others pack for me. Big industry. Probably a lot of people packing.

  9. We’re a little higher than average per capita, but not the top by a long shot. We were pretty middling on guns laws until recently.
