I ruminate about my problems and I want to stop!

I go online and learn techniques, like when you realize you are ruminating, do something…

But then I think about how overweight I am and start ruminating again.

My problems, I can do something about, but my weight physically stares me in the face.

I’m 5’7″, 288 lbs.

I know everyone’s going to tell me to just lose the weight, but it’s a much harder journey than it seems. It’s going to take months of dedication and fighting my thoughts every single day, telling myself you should’ve started exercising sooner. Should’ve watched your diet sooner. Now look at you.

How to stop this cycle?

  1. The best time to have started anything was yesterday. The second best time is now. Otherwise you will sit there in 2 years still wishing you would have started earlier when you could have already done most of the work.
