Every time i start talking with someone i make it about myself, i don’t do it on purpose but if i don’t then the conversation gets really boring for me and stops because all i do is nod, and i never find things to say.
I get called an egoist often but i really care about my friends ect i can’t control it.
It have nothing to do with the person im talking to, i just really can’t understand how people do to make conversations that aren’t forced and that comes naturally.
How do i fix this?

  1. Start by asking questions about others. Be an active listener. When they are talking, don’t think of what to say, instead just listen to them and be curious. And ask open-ended questions.

    Example:

    He: hey! How’s it going?
She: oh heyy! I am extremely exhausted. Work is killing me.
He: that’s a big Oof. What do you do for work?

If she isn’t talkative, then talk about your passion, but end with an open ended question.
