Starting off, a few years ago, I would always, and I mean always, hang out with my friends, they’d come over, I’d go over, we hang out somewhere, in this big friend group. Then, when COVID hit, I became way less social, and would love to just spend all my time in my room gaming, now, 2 years later, I’d sometimes sit and talk with them at school, nothing more, nothing less. They still love me being around, but felt like I pushed them away, that’s what I heard from a common friend in the group, and I kept getting invited with them until last year, since I kept rejecting their invites. What do I do? How do I reconnect?

  1. Reach out to them.. Say something like, “Sorry, COVID put me into kind of a funk and I shut myself down. I’m feeling better and would love to hang with you guys again.”
